The Overlanding Crowd Converges in the PNW for a Weekend of Fun
When you think of overlanding, one area of the country that always comes to mind is the Pacific Northwest. It is some of the most beautiful country that the United States has to offer. The popular Overland Expo series made its first-ever stop to Bend/Redmond area of Oregon for the inaugural Overland Expo PNW 2022. With thousands of overlanders camping on the grounds for the weekend and an expansive vendor area, this proved to be one of the biggest shows for the overlanding community.
Baja Designs made the trip up north and spent the weekend educating the overlanders on our array of off-road lighting solutions for trail use. There were many great-looking builds that showcased Baja Designs lighting, two of them were in the Baja Designs booth. The popular overlanding Jeep JKU rig of @pitcairnoverland and the built-out Ford F-150 Raptor of @lawndartdesigns.
If you haven’t been to an Overland Expo before, there is a lot to see. From lighting solutions like Baja Designs, to the many pop-up tent solutions, to camping gear that overlanders would need, to a Ford Bronco test-drive, there was alot to see and do.
Below is a gallery of builds from Overland Expo PNW ’22 that showcased Baja Designs lighting solutions.
We also got out to the camping area where the real fun was happening. Overlanders making new friends, to old friends catching up with one another, the camping area is one of the great features of the Overland Expos. Check out the gallery of our favorite setups from the camping area:
No matter what you are into, the overland community is one with great people that are all about camaraderie.
