DirectSink™

DirectSink® was never about choosing aluminum over copper. It was about improving the entire thermal pathway. While copper has higher thermal conductivity than aluminum, the material itself is only one part of thermal management. The efficiency of the thermal path—from the LED junction to the housing and ultimately to the surrounding air—has a much greater impact on real-world performance.

DirectSink™ utilizes direct-thermal-path technology to eliminate barriers between the LED and the aluminum substrate, allowing heat to move away from the LED more efficiently. Combined with intelligent thermal monitoring and precision-engineered heat sinks, the system is designed to maximize LED performance, reliability, and longevity.
