"This was a much needed upgrade. The installation was a little time consuming, but well worth it! Mounting my spare and the RTL to the AEV tire carrier was straightforward. Also, moving the license plate inside the wheel, keeps it from any damage. The light is bright and lets people know you’re about to come to a stop. This Spare Tire Mount allows for quick and easy mounting of the Baja Designs RTL-M. The Spare Tire Mount was designed to sit near the center of the wheel on a rear-facing spare tire carrier. Designed around a Jeep JK, the mount picks up two lug nut locations on the factory spare tire mount - though it will work with any 5x127 mm pattern carrier. All necessary hardware is provided with each kit.
