These lights are amazing. I

"These lights are amazing. I use them on my boat. they make the reflectors on channel markers really glow,"

— Lucas M. (5/5)

Love them

"Super bright, and they look awesome. The only downside is that my A-pillar brackets are not made to hold the XL80s, and they vibrate a little. Once I get newer brackets, I'm hoping it will be fixed."

— OMAR (5/5)

Best in class Lights, not so for wiring harness and connectors

"Love the lights, the wiring harness is not up the the light quality. Should use DT connectors and better harness construction. Also should offer spot as a lens option so I don't have to pay $30 extra and mount them."

— Thom S. (4/5)

I can’t say enough good

"I can’t say enough good things about these lights. I installed the Baja Designs XL80 LED pods on my welding rig, and I’m honestly blown away. I spend a lot of time in the oil field on dark lease roads, and these lights turn night into day—no exaggeration. Even with my windshield tinted, I can’t tell there’s tint when these are on. The spread and output are unreal, and they’ve made nighttime work safer and far more efficient. Whether I’m driving between locations or setting up for late-night jobs, these lights have been a game changer. Bonus: when someone decides to flash their brights for no reason, these make a pretty clear statement. Overall, top-tier quality, insane performance, and exactly what you’d expect from Baja Designs. They’ll always be my go-to for lighting."

— Anthony S. (5/5)

The ONLY lights you’ll ever need!

"I’ve had my set of XL 80s on my truck for about 4 years now and they haven’t missed a beat! Clear pure light every time I hit the switch, you’d think the sun was up. Beam pattern is awesome and light coverage out of these is enormous, I can’t say enough great things about them!"

— Eric F. (5/5)

Best pod light over all others on the market. Needs an appropriate switch

"These are one of the best lights that Baja Designs offers for TOTAL Offroad. In addition to GREAT light power there is another feature that allows a 20% decrease in power to not blind oncoming vehicles so much. It is a helpful feature. The supplied switch on the harness does not allow that feature. I procured a on/on/off rocker switch so that one switch allowes all the features. (Not two as suggested on the schematic) Many don't know about this feature. Each pod should have 3 wires. One (Green) wire is another switched ground to dim the lights. If you connect the Green wire directly to ground during install, the pod will never shine highest power. (Again. . . . They are awesome) OnX6+ is my other favorite. I haven't accepted the look of an LP9 yet. . . . ."

Lens Pattern Options:

Driving Combo: The driving combo pattern offers maximum trail coverage in a single light. It combines both driving and spot optics to deliver a smooth blend of light for near-field applications in lighting zones 1 and 2, as well as distance illumination in zone 3. This pattern is perfect for those who need versatile lighting that covers both close and far distances.

Wide Cornering: The wide cornering pattern provides a 42-degree flattened horizontal beam, enhancing peripheral visibility and reducing blind spots in lighting zones 1 and 2. This pattern is ideal for navigating through tight turns, winding trails, or wooded areas. It excels in inclement weather conditions such as dust, snow, rain, or fog, making it easier to see obstacles, trail conditions, and potential hazards.

Lens Color:

Clear: The original performance lens. Our clear lens combined with our 5000k LEDs provides light most similar to daylight, reducing driver fatigue and increasing terrain recognition.

Baja Amber:This performance-driven lens is designed for off-road driving in challenging conditions like dust, rain, snow, or fog. The Baja Amber lens minimizes glare, enhancing visibility and significantly improving your driving experience.
