Baja Designs Return Policy

Here at Baja Designs, customer satisfaction is at our company’s core. Baja Designs gives you 30 days to determine whether you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you have concerns or questions or need assistance with a product, please get in touch with us before returning it. We have found that when a product is not working as expected, a few adjustments or corrections can often set things right.

For all returns, whether warranty-related or otherwise, a Return Authorization Number must be obtained from our Returns Department and included with the returned shipment. Returns received without an RMA Number will not be processed.

Initiating a Return: If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact the Returns Department by calling (760) 560-2252 or emailing [email protected] to obtain an RMA number before sending in your item(s).

Product Exchange Policy: Baja Designs handles all product exchange requests directly, regardless of where the item was purchased, with valid proof of purchase. We offer exchanges for unused items within 90 days from the original invoice date.

 Exchanges are limited to one-to-one replacements only. The replacement item(s) must be the same product as the original purchase. A different color option of the same item(s) is acceptable (Ex, LP9 Pro, Spot, Clear exchanged for LP9 Pro, Driving Combo, Baja Amber). We do not offer exchanges for different products, upgrades, or substitutions under this policy.

Returning a Product: If Baja Designs is deemed responsible for any error, a prepaid return label will be provided; otherwise, you are responsible for all shipping charges. Baja Designs is not responsible for missing, lost, or damaged items during transit. Carefully package and ship items to:

Lost or Stolen Package:  Once an order leaves our facility and is transferred to the shipping carrier, ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer. Baja Designs is not responsible for packages lost in transit by the carrier. However, we will assist in initiating a carrier investigation when applicable.

We reserve the right to deny refunds or replacements for shipments deemed lost due to carrier error.

If an item is lost in transit or hasn’t provided an update post-shipment, please contact [email protected] to initiate an internal search with the carrier and file a claim if no additional findings are made during the internal search.

Inspection: Processing times can take anywhere between 2-3 business days. Items received without an RMA number will not be processed. A 15% re-stocking fee will be applied for the following reasons:

  • Items returned after 30 days from the invoice date (Unless discussed prior with Sales or Customer Service Rep).
  • Installation/Mounting damages.
  • Not in original packaging and/or 100% sellable condition.
  • Damages caused by poor packaging

Where no satisfaction guarantee or warranty applies, you may still return items for a exchange within 90 days of the invoice date. Products must be in brand-new (unused) condition. All returns in the past 30 days and within the 90 day exchange policy will be subject to a 15% re-stocking fee.

Refunds: All refunds will be applied to the original payment method used. They are generally issued within 7-10 business days of Baja Designs receiving all returned goods. Your bank may require additional processing time to reflect the refund in your account. If financed, please get in touch with Affirm, Afterpay, or PayPal for their return process and any fees associated with the loan.
