The 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead will perform a combination of manual shipping, pulling, and restock duties, as well as mentoring and training Warehouse employees. This role works closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the accurate receipt of all physical inventory and to assist in communicating stock needs to maintain appropriate stock levels to support the business. This includes properly organizing and maintaining the inventory in the warehouse and keeping it clean and always organized. The lead is responsible for making sure the team is following directions to get the job done. This role requires great attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, strong written and verbal communication skills with all members of the business, as well as strong time management and prioritization skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- · Works independently and manages time to meet all requested pick and ship dates.
- · Stock new deliveries into the warehouse in a timely manner.
- · Leading the team to excellence and improving training that is needed.
- · Review and update Standard Operating Procedures as necessary.
- · Assist in designing methodologies to improve our inventory accuracy.
- · Conduct continuous improvement projects to ensure an efficient operation is in place to get the job done daily.
- · Understands proper packing procedures to avoid damage during transit.
- · Fluent in UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager systems (Domestic and International)
- · Prepares customs documentation for international shipments as required.
- · Operates forklift equipment. Schedules preventative maintenance services. Maintains daily operator checklist safety log.
- · Uses online TMS systems to schedule freight pick up and palletize orders.
- · Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment of order picking and shipping.
- · Conducts root cause analysis and creates corrective action measures to prevent issues from recurring.
- · Looks at long term strategies and implements new processes in advance of upcoming changes.

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate I, where your energy and expertise will drive logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with overall warehouse operations, planning, and daily activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Pulling:
- Picking customer orders and transfer orders using RF Scanners.
- Printing part number labels and labeling stock items.
- Inventory counts for existing bin locations.
- General warehouse duties include stocking and replenishment of materials and finished goods.
- Ability to grab products off shelves with use of ladder/rolling stairs.
- Daily housekeeping duties in the warehouse such as sweeping and emptying trash cans.
Shipping:
- Loading and unloading materials by hand or using equipment.
- Packaging and Domestic and International Shipping via USPS, UPS, FedEx and Freight.
- Create Commercial Invoices. Identify and use correct INCO terms for shipment.
- Identify Harmonized Tariff Codes and Country of Origin for International shipping
- File an Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the AESDirect system to obtain an AES ITN (Automated Export System Internal Transaction Number)
- Packing and shipping customer orders and transfer orders.
- Prepare Bills of Lading for LTL shipments. Identify and use correct National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) codes.
- Calculate shipment volume in cubic feet. Calculate shipment density in pounds per cubic foot.
- Fact check packing lists with actual quantity received.
- Required to lift heavy items.
- Daily housekeeping duties, keeping a clean and tidy workspace.
- Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
